Intruduction
District Institute of Education and Training, Tirur, Thiruvallur District was established in 1989 to strengthen and improve the “Quality of Elementary Education” and it also addresses the gap that exist in implementing present Education system. From this Institute many students have completed their Diploma successfully and they were placed in many Government, Government Aided and Private schools.
Many Teachers do serve schools in and around Tiruvallur District on successful completion of D.EL.ED course from our esteemed Institution . It can be proudly acclaimed that so many students from DIET Tirur have pursued their higher education and joined higher post in Tiruvallur District.
